Jord, I'm pretty sure you're looking at it in a one dimensional and naive view. Electrify is a *** good song and to judge him on a few simple lyrics is a bit much. Yeah he follows the christian faith and has written some pretty scripture driven lyrics (mostly in Earthsuit). But Mute Math is not a worship band and all of their musical content doesn't have to model Christianity, not only that but try looking at the song from a different point of view, why is it that it has to be about trying to get a girl? Open your mind a little and if its that big a deal, don't listen.

I don't think he's much of a Christian anymore, Jord. I heard through the grapevine that he renounced his faith and is now an "experimentalist"? or something of that sort.

ok so on mute math's new album, the song called electrify is all about getting a girl to sleep with him right? well thats what i understand of it. but now, paul meany is a christian and has written christian music. why is he singing about trying to get a girl to sleep with him? and why didnt he talk about that song in this interview? im disappointed.
